Ichiban Noodle Cafe - Glasgow City

Went in with my mother for lunch as we had been before and has enjoyed it. Got the lunch deal, side and a main. The spring rolls were very greasy and the gyozas were bland. We both got a yaki udon dish and the noodles were just slimy. The beef was tough and could tell the entire meal wasn’t fresh. Our waiter even told us since the chefs have changed the standards have gone down. We did complain that the food wasn’t good and we hadn’t even started to eat it properly but were still charged full price. Really disappointed with everything about this place. They also had Work going on in the back area cause it rattled through the restaurant making it hard to talk/listen to our conversation.

Ordered from this restaurant as staying close by. Quick service delivered to the door. Food very good and plentiful. If staying here again would certainly call in for a repeat meal.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, but this time the service was awful. It took a while for a waiter to come to my table, even though a female waiter had already spoken to the couple seated next to me. Then, I had to ask for a menu and waited ten more minutes before my order was taken. The restaurant was also not very warm, so I had to put my coat back on. The food was okay, but I don't think I will be returning. They really need to work on improving their service!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant as I was staying nearby. The service was quick and the food was delicious and filling. If I ever stay in the area again, I would definitely order from here again.

I decided to bring my significant other to this restaurant to try something different, so I suggested we try Japanese cuisine instead of Chinese. We ordered vegetable tempura and tonkatsu curry, both of which were cooked perfectly and the tempura was delicious. It was a quiet mid-week visit, and at one point we were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was very timely and personalized. We will definitely be returning in the future.
