Surfin' Taco - Gisborne

I DO NOT recommend eating at Surfin’ Taco if you have a large Polynesian family in our case 4 adults 4 kids. While they had 2 full tables there was 1 table seating 7 empty and I asked if he could get another seat and he flatly said no and showed no interest in us as customers. We received blunt rudeness with no smile no expression He wasn’t having a bad day either because he had no problem smiling at the others seated Just at us

Big place, would go again (if I'm ever back in gisborne).

Cool Authentic Mexican Kai in Gisborne. Enter thru a plain facade into a little Mexico away from Mexico. Delicious food prepared by the owner accompanied by a choice of Mexican beverages. In November 2020 opening hours are Wed Sat. Prices are reasonable so why not pay them a visit!!!

The food is really good, they serve Baja California Mexican style. But we went like three times to try to have dinner there, and the owner said to us that they didn’t have space when we can see empty tables, I don’t know why. Finally we can ate there but the owner was kind of rude and weird. The margarita is too expensive for small size that is.

If I could rate our experience at Surfin Taco a zero I would. This place is one of the rudest restaurants I have ever been to. Do not take your children as they are not very child friendly, one of the staff members thought she had the right to tear strips off a 7 year old. Very disappointed as it was a birthday celebration and this put a big damper on the night. This place was very difficult to deal with from the moment we had contact with them. Can't review the food as we walked out.
