Restaurante tipicamente familiar, o ambiente, a comida, o serviço. Sempre tudo muito bem confecionado e acolhedor.

Eles trazem uma entrada de presunto, queijo e salsichas sem você pedir e depois cobram por isso. Não gostei desse detalhe. O resto está correto, sem mais delongas.

We ate here a number of times as we were working close by for a week. We had dinner some nights and had lunch everyday with the large group from the workshop that we were teaching. Lunch was great everyday, plenty of dishes were put...on the table and we all served ourselves, our workshop participants (all Portuguese) always made sure that we got to taste their favourite dishes so we had a great variety of food it was all meat based so this is not the ideal place for a vegetarian to eat! Extras were always brought if needed, the serving dishes were a generous size and always full. Desserts were typical of the region and the coffee was good. Jugs of local red wine were always on the table as were water jugs. We always enjoyed these lunches, of course we had great company and there was lively conversation everyday. We chose to not have breakfasts here however we had dinner on a few occasions and ate some lovely local meats. The pork is all free range and is from a local heritage breed of pig the Bizarro (I think). The only negative I can add is that I would have preferred more choice in vegetables over the week however the food served is primarily local and I do appreciate being able to eat truly local food.
