Jati Bungalow - Gili Islands

Mabey best place to stay in this habour region. Definitely landside. Offers a transport to the harbour for 60k.

The ideal location to be in a quiet location and close to the port to access the Gili Islands. The place is charming and the owner is very warm and helpful. It can rent you a scooter, arrange a trip around, or find you a transport for the airport or other. Really a place and an endearing character.

A good alternative if you want to stay in the area after or before the Gili Islands. The place is cosy and quite comfortable (except the mattress on the ground which was too soft). It's rather isolated and far from the city (40 minutes walk to the harbour) and you have to walk more than 10 minutes to get to the closest restaurant. The surrounding are charming and people around very friendly. The breakfast was simple (2 fried eggs and some toast). It might be too expensive for what it is but the owner is a nice guy and he's always willing to help (he dropped us for free at the harbour).

Very nice, safe and clean place. Good service. Bar. Minibar in bungalow. Things to do: take a walk or drive to nearby beaches. have a good time at the jati bar. walk to Pemanang for nice street food or barbeque restaurant. take a walk through small villages around the stay make a daytrip to the Gili Islands for snorkling. sit in front of the bungalows an watch animals and local life!
