Red Lotus Thai - Gilbert

I thought I would try a new place, but I didn't even get to try it! There was no one to greet at the door or desk, and there were several people waiting for pick-up. There was nowhere to stand because everywhere except a few feet around the door is taped off for safety (covid) reasons. The organization is terrible. When I was finally helped, they didn't have my order. When I ordered over the phone, they could have mentioned there was no mango curry. He said they were making mepumpkin curry instead. I said, no thanks, and I left. A few other things, the host kept touching his mask. Also the place is called pho lotus Vietnamese, not Red Lotus Thai, so that was confusing.

I ordered massaman curry. Their menu said it was carrots, peanuts, potatoes and onions. They added bell peppers and yellow squash. I eat just about anything in life but not bell peppers. Ruined my meal. If you are going to differ from your menu then change your menu or alert customers.

All three Thai places are the same kitchen. Delivery and carry out takes MUCH longer than they tell you.

I order massamam curry and boy was I disappointed I found 2 pieces of chicken it had celery, broccoli, and everything else it had no potatoes no peanuts the sauce tasted good though and the spiciness was satisfactory. I didn't like the sticky rice with mango worst one Ive ever tried it has peanuts on top.and was not sweet at all ive made homemade that tasted better. Over l all disappointed and won't get again... to many better places to eat at.

Food had no taste. I've never had red curry that had absolutely zero flavor. It was utterly bizarre. The veggies were fresh and the food was hot but no taste. The sauce, chicken, carrots, red bell peppers, broccoli, bamboo shoots and even the basil leaves had NO taste. My mom had the blue basil chicken. She had the same issue- no taste and hers was lukewarm. I'm truly disappointed because it looked beautiful. Won't be ordering from them again. GrubHub delivery.
