Caldwell County Mexi-q - Gilbert

The birria tacos were to die for! Honestly I wanted more from the mac and cheese but I will definitely be returning for the tacos alone. Can't wait to try the ribs!

We've been having a string of truly good luck with restaurants this month! This new eatery in Gilbert is fantastic. Texas BBQ with a Mexican flair, a very cool concept. The brisket birria tacos are solid, nice consume', crispy, cheesy and well stuffed. Carnitas tacos were thick and juicy, with excellent hot salsa. Pinto beans were perfect, with a good amount of meat in them. Mexican twinkies were smoky and mouth watering. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and I thought the birria was the best in town. The staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. We will be regular guests here.

Barbecue and Mexican style combo makes this place a dream dining experience in my opinion. The Brisket is a must try. The tacos are fantastic, but the tostadas are worth the price. Look, the Brisket is so good that after my first visit I went back the next day to get 4lbs to share with some of my friends.

I went here when it was Clay's Dogs and was sad to see it go. I was a little apprehensive on the new menu, since Mexican food is one of my favorites and figured there are really good places around. However, their Birria tacos are the best! We love coming here and getting the tacos, Mexi-Twinkies and Mac and Cheese! I miss the hotdogs with briskett BBQ, but I love the Birria tacos! Thank you!

My family loves this place. We usually get a pound of pulled pork, any leftover gets used in breakfast burritos or omelettes over the next day or two. The Mexican Twinkies are yummy . Now that the weather is cooling down the outside seating will be nice. It's close to downtown, but not in the mix. We absolutely recommend it!
