Bidra med feedbackWe had been driving for hours and it was late. We stopped at a bar-restaurant off the highway that wasn't serving dinner. A customer suggested El Carbayu and was kind enough to lead us to the restaurant. It is a simple restaurant with friendly service. We ordered a potato soup for the toddler in the group, a mixed salad and two very thick cut rib eye steaks to share amongst the four adults and my ten year old son. They brought the soup first which was enough for everyone to have a small bowl. It was very good. The mixed salad also just as large and well prepared. But the high point of the meal was the meat. They like their meet very rare in Spain but the serve it on a hot plate like a fajita plate and serve it already sliced so if you want it a cooked a little more just lay it on the plate. The steaks were absolutely fantastic! The steak is priced by the kilo at 33 euros. A bit on the expensive side. Our meal came to 132 euros. Note that we all only drank bottled water.

Merendero sin grandes pretensiones pero dónde se come muy bien, buen servicio y ambiente agradable. Con la Carballera como gran aliciente, sobre todo en días calurosos. Permite ir con perros en las terrazas
