Hotel Le Coupieres - Gif-sur-Yvette

This might be one of the most economical hotels in this region. If you stay for a month, you can get rooms for between 600-800 Euros per month.The rooms are quite simple. A small kitchenette with two heating rings. Rooms have heating that can be adjusted. Some rooms on the second floor have slanting ceilings, and so you lose out on much of the floor space as it is not very useful. The bathrooms are compact. Each of the rooms has a double bed. Mine also had a small TV, but as all the channels were in French, I didn't use it much.Overall the rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff will clean the rooms each week. The staff is friendly. Some of them speak a bit of English, so that is helpful. The hotel is 10-15 mins (walking) from the railway station and the supermarket. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor.

Dopo circa un anno, siamo ritornati al ristorante dell'Hotel Le Coupieres molto volentieri per consumare un piatto unico. Non si smentisce mai, per la propria caratteristica di cucina casalinga. Anche questa volta siamo rimasti soddisfatti per la qualità ed il prezzo.Arrivederci

Bonne adresse pour un bon déjeuner en semaine, produits de bonne qualité et bien cuisinés! Service sympa et rapide.

Nous étions quatre personnes de passage à Gif sur Yvette pour visiter une exposition d'art, et avons déjeuné à l'Hôtel le Coupières. Les plats étaient délicieux (je recommande notamment la bavette aux échalotes et à la crème) et les portions généreuses. La salle est tranquille, et le service est efficace et d'une grande gentillesse. Quant aux prix, ils sont vraiment raisonnables.
