Sheer Bliss Bakery Cafe - Gibsons

As a resident of the area, I absolutely adore this restaurant for lunch and afternoon meetings. It's a shame that they lose points for not being open during dinner or late hours. The restaurant is locally owned by two wonderful owners, and the food is delicious. If you enjoy baking, this is the perfect spot for you. My personal favorites are the quiche and the summer berry salad - they are absolutely amazing.

As a tourist in the area, my friend who lives in Gibsons suggested that we try Bliss for breakfast, specifically for their cinnamon roll. We stopped by the evening before to confirm they would be making them the next morning, and were told to come at 9:30 when they would be ready. Despite the rain typical of Gibsons, we braved the weather to enjoy a delightful morning meal. I ordered eggs with bacon, asparagus, roasted tomatoes, and toast. The grilled asparagus was a stand-out, and I wished there was more of it instead of the squishy tomato. While I appreciated the butter on the side, it needed to be on the toast right away to prevent it from becoming dry and hard. However, the highlight of the meal was the cinnamon roll, which was incredibly sticky and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it took me hours to remove all the caramel toffee from my teeth. As a fan of sticky rolls over cream cheese icing, this one hit the spot. I would definitely return to try their lunch menu, especially with the tempting 'Mac and Cheese' sign calling my name.

The homemade bread at this restaurant is unparalleled. Whether you try the raisin rye or Irish soda bread, it's only $4.95 and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Great service amazing brunch food! the bread they use for their sandwiches and other menu items is the highlight!! the owner was super friendly. He shares detailed description on the items in the display in case you have a hard time choosing. He also checks on you during your whole dine-in stay!

Great coffee : And i love a good old plain almond croissant. But you should ask ,cause in mine there was a bitter orange marmelade inside. That makes it so special. So I don't know , if it's on all of em but if u love that flavor, go for it.
