Weathered Ground Brewery - Ghent

Excellent brewery with excellent craft beers. Big spacious sitting areas inside near bar and outside under covered patio as well as picnic area. Both inside and outside have stages for band and entertainment. Also inside is a large private room. The staff were very helpful knowing their beers and recommended the perfect brew for what I was in the mood for. A real find in the middle of beautiful scenic area. Great place to just chill, take in the scenery, and taste some good beers!

This is a must stop when traveling the turnpike. Love to go here during ski season on a trip the Winterplace. Every beer is good. Wonder area to enjoy a beautiful day and have a beer. Good food!

Nice large brewery with plenty of space to move around. Great areas for kids to play and nice indoor and outdoor environments. Beer was more hoppy than my preference but good still. Great place to spend an afternoon and evening. Live music inside as well.

This place is fantastic. The warm pretzels with beer cheese are as good as comfort food gets in my humble opinion.This is a great spot for a break if you are traveling I77. Flat front door entrance for those traveling with the older folks and dog friendly. The pizza is tasty, Greek salad is as well.. Reasonably priced and nice folks.

Stacie was one of the best bartenders I have ever had at a brewery. Knowledgeable and super kind and the fact that she is a teacher even adds to the pot as a former teacher. If there is one thing teachers know how to do it is drink.....speaking from experience....if this brewery ever distributes I want to be the first in North Carolina to have them!!! Cheers!!!
