Tadeo's Mexican In Bell - gham

This is a hidden gem in Bellingham. The owners, a Mexican family, are the chefs and the service is incredibly efficient and accommodating. Everything is homemade and high quality. We ordered the tri color enchiladas, michoacano plate with two fried eggs added, and ate both plates together, with some extra green and red salsa by request. The homemade sauces and tortillas are so good I want to roll around in them. This will become my new happy place.

I have been by here many times but never been able to try the food. I popped in to pickup a to-go order for a bean and cheese burrito. Staff is super friendly and from when I placed my order to when I picked it up was 5 min. I am a big fan of bean and cheese burritos, I know it’s not a lot going on but I’m vegetarian and it’s a go-to for me. I would rate theirs a 10/10; the tortilla is crispy and toasted, the beans are flavorful and seem homemade. The cheese was real Mexican cheese and melted perfectly. The size of the burrito is good too! The hot sauces they offer are great, the red sauce is less tomato based and more spice based if that makes sense. Still good, but not my favorite for what I like. Green sauce was solid all around. My ONLY negative is the price was $8.70 for a single bean and cheese burrito. It’s a bummer as I know under the $6 mark is ideal for such a simple burrito. However it is so good I’ll likely come back and go into debt getting this whenever I’m craving a good ol’ bean and cheese burrito.
