We ate here three times during our vacation in Gernsbach. Every dish was excellent, down-to-earth, but tasty and well seasoned. Both the menu of the day and the individual side dishes were good. We felt very comfortable here and you can tell that the restaurant is an institution in itself. The prices are reasonable too. Be sure to order the salad plate with Black Forest ham the variations change daily and you get a nice mix of fresh and pickled salads.

For me, the best home-style restaurant in the entire Murg Valley. Always fresh ingredients and the best quality of food. The ambiance is like a throwback to the past.
