More Than Cake - Georgetown

Let me just say-I love this place! I just started coming to More Than Cake this summer, and I would recommend it to everyone from Georgetown locals to visitors. Desserts There is a wonderful (and delicious selection of sweets! There are classic flavors, and then really unique, also: Eclairs, Macaroons, Cupcakes, Revenue, Mini-Pies, I could go on and on! Today I took a little girl I wanted to babysit, and she picked a red velvet cupcake. Then Leshia made her the most amazing ice cream and mixed up in the cupcake! It was cool to watch, and also delicious. Food I took a few friends from IL to More Than Cake for Brunch, and man oh man, they are regular food is incredible! The cookies and Gravy were fantastic, chickens and dumplings were incredible, and I've never been so happy with eggs and toast! Since the bread is fresh, the toast is not a joke. I've never had so tasty : I also love that they support other local companies. Oh, and the pancakes are great too! Made by scratches! Service-100%! Leshia is such a nice lady who knows how to run a business! She needs more and more time to talk to customers when she is not in the kitchen or works with other staff. All others in their crew are friendly and treat the guests friendly. I cannot stress enough how much I love this place. This is my new favorite bakery, brunch and lunch in the city!!! It is guaranteed that I will be back quite often:

The school was cancelled at Career Day. The children were all dressed in their career costume without leaving space. You wanted to be a baker, so we went to More Than Cake to talk to a baker and maybe get a look into a working kitchen. What all 3 children got was hand-on-cookie creation and cupcake decorating with their own box to bring the spoilers home. Thank you for your spontaneous and unbalanced tutorial, even if the folds were spilled. What a wonderful day! Thank you. I was glad to donate the building fund for an unpaid experience.

I love the vegan options they have: . It was a great surprise to know that they also have vegan desserts, soups, sandwiches and bread, all of them exquisite!!! The owner and the rest of the staff are very friendly and always smiling. I would recommend More than Cake to anyone who wants to be in a very clean and wonderful place with a very relaxed atmosphere and great food. Thanks More than Cake!!

My wife visited MTC a few times, and very much recommended it to me. Today we went for lunch, and I had the best White Chicken Chili and BLT I've ever seen! Really woke! Then they asked me to put a sticker on their world map about my hometown Elgin, Scotland. Be back! Very friendly staff.

We ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday party. The ordering process was really easy and despite my vauge description of what I wanted (Camping Themed) they nailed it! I would highly recommend using them for all your dessert needs!
