Bidra med feedbackStopped in for lunch with a group of friends on a Friday. We arrived just after 11:00 to avoid the substantial luncheon crowd. We were able to be seated right away. Parking is limited in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant, plan to stroll a little, or use the valet service out front. The venue is open and airy with lots of seating both indoors and on patios. A full menu of locally sourced cuisine and adult beverages is available. Service was good if not exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of salads and sandwiches, as well as the soup of the day. My arugula steak salad was delicious and had a little spicy kick from the steak rub. Others had the fish and chips sandwich, and the grilled chicken salad. All enjoyed their food although one commented that the soup was spicier than they prefer. Prices are competitive for the somewhat upscale Georgetown marketplace. My companion and I had two steak salads and two soft drinks for $46 before tip. I would recommend this venue for those looking for tasty local foods in a pleasant setting. Music is provided on some evenings, as well.
First experience was fantastic. Fast, efficient and friendly service. The food was prepared in a crafted fashion that was visually appealing and delicious. There was minimal wait to be seated since we made reservations a couple days in advance. Although not quiet and cozy, the atmosphere was open, airy and a very nice change of pace for a special meal. Highly recommended. Update Feb. 2022: Visited again for a beautiful Valentine's dinner. Everything was just as anticipated from our first experience, nearly perfect. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Drinks were unique and well prepared. Food was exceptional in every respect. Keep up the great work!
Mike likes the chicken fried meatloaf. It's a big meal. I've had the shrimp ravioli and the Shroom Burger. Both I highly recommend. I had some to take home. Atmosphere is casual, brunch has a big **** Mary setup that looked pretty good. There is seating outside in an enclosed patio room that is comfortable as well. I thought the prices were a bit high but you definitely are given big servings. I will go back again.
So glad we called and made reservations for brunch. This place was extremely busy and for good reason, their food is fantastic. There is an unpretentious industrial vibe to the restaurant and we loved being rated out on the covered side patio. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive even with a nonstop crowd. We shared the Brussels sprouts and everyone loved it. It was the perfect blend of tangy, just a touch spice and savory. I had the beef enchiladas and they were great. We would definitely come back. Be sure to make reservations because it could be a long wait. Note: I think they had complimentary valet but might need to verify. We parked a bit away.
We decided to come here for brunch but the stuffed trout kept looking so good that we both decided to try it. One with veggies, the other as it comes with mashed potatoes. I think the veggies flavored well with the trout and helped the moisture. I added squeezed lemon on top of both and that added a little zing! The artichoke dip was a little thick, but it was still ok. (May have been sitting bc it wasn't hot) Brussels were pretty good. Definitely different. It has a few red peppers for a little mild spice, sliced apples for a little sweetness and walnuts for crunch. We would def try again and order something different next time.
