Don’t let the beaten path scare you off. It’s a gravel road and our tiny rental had no issues…this place is well worth it! The views and delicious wine tasting paired with a meat and cheese platter is what is getting my five stars. The service was outstanding. A great stop on the Garden Route.

This is an amazing family owned boutique wine farm nestled in a quiet corner of the Outeniqua Mountains. If you like glitzy shiny commercial wines estates this not for you! The owners are very hospitable and welcoming, we stayed in one of the self catering cottages which was cosy and clean during some cold Cape winter weather and the fireplace was great to keep us toasty. Scrumptious food menu is limited by design since all meals are prepared with care on site. Highly recommend the hamburgers at lunch and roosterkoek with breakfast.

Beautiful location nestled between the mountains. A must visit when in the area. Turn off on the scenic Montagu Pass. Inside and outside seating. Just a great atmosphere.

Great place to get away from the city. Beautiful mountains, streams, dams, cattle, wine and hop farms..
