Mescite - GENOVA

Visited in September 2019 with my Dad and we heard about Mescite through the Sunday Times newspaper so we knew it would be a real gem, safe to say we were far from disappointed! The bar has a great selection of wines alongside salami and cheese boards, and great Beer too. Staff and locals were really friendly and made us feel welcome even though our Italian was extremely limited. if you’re looking for a local bar with a friendly and authentic atmosphere in Genoa hands down this is the place to go. Grazie! We will be back

We were taken here by a local girl who lives nearby and uses this wine bar regularly. What an amazing place 6 large vats of different wines on offer as well as beers. The staff and customers alike were extremely friendly and the wine was amazing and probably the best value wine you will find anywhere, no just in Genoa.This is a must visit when in Genoa and I can’t wait to go back.

This little wine bar should be a must visit when in Genoa. The staff member was friendly, the varietals of wine all interesting, and the prices are superb. It was our first day in Italy and we thought we'd misread the prices, but a couple glasses of enjoyable wine for each of us and a bottle to take home only just snuck past 10 Euros.

Vino ottimo, taglieri e bruschette da provare e (titolare E ragazzi al banco a dir poco gentilissimi. L'attenzione alla clientela e il vino buono fanno del posto tappa obbligatoria per chiunque voglia concedersi un bicchiere di vino buono e ottimi acconpagnamenti in un posto caratteristico e alla mano.
