Worst service imaginable. They do not accept foreigners and are extremely fascists. It is not the same management I used to know. Try the restaurant next door, Le Mani in Pasta, for a far better experience, better food, and less pretentiousness.

Food and wine was good. Staff, specially the person who managed them were extremely rude. We had a reservation but they made us wait for 45 minutes. They didn’t even acknowledge the reservation. No apologies. It seemed like the manager was racist against non Italians and even looked like she bullied the non Italian staff.

I don’t recommend for Americans or non Europeans. We showed our covid cards which included booster shots and they still didn’t allow us to dine. The owner was very rude and indicated it was Italian law that green pass is the only acceptable method, which is not true. There is an excellent pasta restaurant nearby that I would recommend instead. Even after covid restrictions are over you should avoid this place.

Our first dinner in Genova, and couldn't go wrong! The menu changes daily on a chalk board in Italian, but rest assured the friendly and welcoming waiters will translate and explain each dish in detail. My partner had the pesto pasta which was the highlight. I had the fresh catch of the day which was also fantastic. Check out their great selection of wines too. Overall, you can't go wrong with freshly cooked, homely meals where all the locals go to. Hidden little gem of Genova. Thank you

Go here for well-executed Ligurian dishes. Tucked away in a side street. Our best meal in Genoa.
