Bidra med feedbackWhile the service was fantastic, the food left some to be desired. The overall taste and presentation of the entrees and desserts were great, but each of our main dishes (3 different sorts) were extraordinarily salty and as such, somewhat unappetizing. This, in combination with the relatively high prices for said pasta dishes (especially for the size of the portions), soured our visit a bit. I'm willing to accept this extreme saltiness might have been a one-off thing, but until a next visit proves this to be the case, the final rating will stay at 3 stars.
Really great sandwiches and some fantastic beer. The person that served us was very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was busy when we arrived at 6:15pm, with tables placed close together to accommodate all customers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our group of 7 was allowed to order 4 dishes (serving 2 each), but we ended up ordering 3 dishes and a salad. The Bolognaise lacked flavor and resembled more of a tomato sauce. However, the Ravioli with ricotta and fettuccine with salmon were delicious. Initially we thought the portions would be sufficient, but we found ourselves still hungry. Overall, the food and service were good, the atmosphere was pleasant, but it was a bit crowded and the portions were not enough.
We visited on a Saturday and found the restaurant to be quite busy. Our table was positioned closely to another table, making it a bit challenging to move around easily. However, that was the only downside I encountered. I ordered the Carbonara, which was tasty but had too much onion for my liking (I must admit I'm not a fan of onions, so don't let that deter you). The dish was presented in a pan rather than a plate, which was a unique and intriguing choice. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the restaurant – the ambiance was nice, the service was efficient, and the food was delicious. I would recommend giving it a try.
The pasta is great. The burro e erbe vegetarian one is recommended and the chef specialties are also top notch. We were party of 9 and our choice was limited to 4 dishes. Those are served in the middle of the table in cast iron pans which makes it also very cosy eating experience allowing for taste of other pasta variants. The chef greets the tables after lunch which I found genuine and likable. Service was also good with 2 young ladies and one gentleman taking good care of the tables. If in the area I will definitely be back...
