Bidra med feedbackPrime is a place many people go before Geneve Servette Ice hockey game so we did. This is a sports bar/restaurant, so the menu mainly focuses on hamburgers. I had a veggie burger who was delicious! Really delicious burgers strongly recommended. My husband had a chicken burger who was okay, but a little dry. If you go here on a game night, make sure you book a table in advance and be there early as the service might be a little slow. If I'd go back, we'll have a good vegetable burger again! The good thing is that the kitchen is open non stop so it is good if you go here outside the usual lunch / dinner time.
Excellent burgers served pleasantly with a smile: what on earth is it not to like in such a combination??
We stepped in here by chance because we got the days of the hockey match wrong (we can to see a game, there was no game). The place is in the same complex at the national hockey ice rink, has big TV screens showing sports, and hockey memoribilia all over. So I wasn't exepcting much. But... the burgers are great. Nice big pieces of beef, great bread and sauce. Nice fries too.
Having over 11 screens, boasting the largest in Europe (I did not see it), This pub has the name of the coach of the local Hockey Team, The Geneva Servette Hockey Club or GSHC for short. Located within the city sports complex, a pub was created within a space that looks like the hallway of a sports center, decor is non existing... No sports shirt, no mountain bikes hanging off the roof, no trophy case etc. But for food makes up for the lack of decor. Hamburgers carry the name of some players, steak is per chunk of 100 grams... beer is always cold. They do have cheese cake for desert which in Geneva, is rare. I love the ribs here. On the pub side (there is a steak house side as well), they do not really know how to make spicy chicken wings. We are far from 911 wings from la Cage au Sport in Quebec. This place can get super busy when a match is on, reserve is a must, before, during and after. BONUS, after a match, the players and coach always come for drinks and mingle with the fans; kids line up for autographs which is a nice touch!
Eishockey-Spiel).
