Bidra med feedbackGreat food and great service! Notice it’s not a sit down restaurant. They have a few informal tables if you want to do and eat.
We hadnt eaten all day and wanted to try a taco place closer to home. around 2pm-ish, my husband went across town and ordered 4 Al pastor tacos and 4 shredded chicken tacos(all with cheese), 2 sides of rice, street corn and 2 horchatas. Husband got home and I excitedly began setting the food out only to discover STK written on the outside of the foil. I asked my husband if he had added any steak tacos and he said No, that he had specifically asked the guy at the front if the marinated pork was Al pastor and that he wanted 4 Al pastor tacos. We opened the foil and it sure looked like steak, took a tiny bite ofnthe meat just to be revolted with not only the texture(grainy) but the lack of any sort of flavor. We quickly opened the other foil package and saw that at least they got the chicken right. tried a piece of chicken to discover it too was absolutely flavorless. For $46 I could have looked past the mistake if there was at least some flavor. The rice was ok. the horchata was grainy due to either too much cinnamon or their machine not mixing things properly. This was highly disappointing and we will never ever be back again. I do NOT recommend here and I wish I had read the reviews on both Facebook and Google. lesson learned the hard way.
I ordered a Milanese cake with everything free of lettuce and they gave me one with lettuce without Milanese before I was upset and angry about the service or the food now I only check and rate it and what do you think ?
Excellent food and great people. Been working far from home, and eating at Tacatz every night, and it never fails me. Try the homemade Popsicles, the triple berry is my go to.
I should have chosen another place to eat today, but I always try to go to Mexican places, whether I know them or not. What a big mistake today! The food tasted like absolutely nothing. I ordered a breakfast of eggs and chorizo with a coffee, to eat on the spot. I asked to use the bathroom, they don't have one for clients. I went out to a neighboring sushi place, where a very nice man allowed me to use his bathroom. By the time I returned, my coffee was already served in a disposable cup. Or something similar, it didn't taste like anything either. Sock water. I had to imagine what was next. They bring me a to-go container, with two mini glasses of salsa and 4 corn tortillas. It wasn't the end of the world. But I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth. Because when I asked if they were a new place, the owner offered me a refund and explained how affected they were during pandemic times. That's why they don't have a bathroom, plates, sauce boats, cutlery, or cups. Maybe I should have accepted the refund. But I did not. I don't like eating free. The truth is that I only ate the egg, which tasted like nothing, and everything else went straight into the trash after trying it. This place is very sad. Today I threw 16 dollars in the trash.
