Probably the best seafood restaurant in Gela! The place is clean and very pleasant, the host is very kind. The culinary experience was extraordinary, with fresh and very tasty seafood. Decent prices.

On a rainy night in Gela, after just discovering that my hotel had no restaurant, despite the promises of the website and in room information, I put my fate in the hands of Tripadvisor once more and yet again came up trumps. What a feast! Having read a previous review which claimed that if one was an 'outsider ' then the treatment was likely to be different I was a little apprehensive but within a few minutes of sitting down I felt perfectly at home. Signor Pino recommended the day 's special to me but was not irritated when I asked to look at the menu and told him I 'd been reading about his restaurant on Tripadvisor. He told me he 'd get his son, Antonio, the chef who would talk me through the evening 's fare. Despite the restaurant filling up steadily Antonio took his time and patiently told me what he had in mind for me after I expressed my preferences. Such was his confidence and reassurance that I knew I was in good hands and therefore let him decide both the dishes and the wine. Rarely have I been treated to such an array of fish starters of a freshness that literally had the shellfish dancing on the plate as I was encouraged to squeeze my lemon on them. After the endless antipasto I skipped to the second dish of grilled tuna, prawns and squid, all accompanied by a delicate, light Cusumano white. With no room left for the dessert I still let myself be tempted by the small delicacy offered kindly by Simone, the waiter with eyes everywhere who looked after the room like a veteran despite his years. All in all a fantastic evening. Destiny indeed. if my hotel had had a restaurant I would never have discovered one of the best restaurants I 've ever had the pleasure to dine in.

Only restaurant in the city where you are sure to eat well. always high, raw appetizers and high quality cooked, excellent raw material and good cooks. all they carry is always good from appetizers to the first and second. friendly and prepared staff. clean and elegant place.
