Found this place doing a Google search for take-away schnitzel while staying at a local hotel to bring back to my infirmed husband. So armed with the confidence of my Google-informed decision, I went over there on a Tuesday night. To say this place has an everybody-knows-your-name “Cheers” vibe is an understatement. I wish I spoke German so I could have slipped in less conspicuously. The cook/barkeep/proprietor personally handled my order (language barrier and attempted credit payment faux pas) with warmth and hospitality. Back at the hotel, I uncovered THE MOST DELICIOUS schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and potatoes. The portion was more than enough to feed the two of us. Danke! danke!danke! I highly recommend and wish we could have eaten in and enjoyed a beer with it. Read about the dragon. It’s a fun story.
