Ripples by the Bay - Geelong

We had a unique venue to organize an event and decide for no42. monica was such a joy to deal with the organizers and made the job so easy. monica, august talia were the front of the home team at the...night and our guests had a ball. service, eating and venue was excellent. the location is also amazing, with view of geelongs corio bay, highly recommended.

Unique location on corio bay, adjacent to rippleside park and overlooking the naval channels. a large adventurous playground, hiking trails along the water and free parking supplement the attraction for families. our family dinner was very pleasant, but a worker was quite insulting and. reminded us several times about the need to be exact with our booking numbers, but there were many empty tables). most meal times were abandoned, although an salate was very salty and could not be eaten. overall is a most pleasant experience.

Excellent location, good eating, good coffee, good choice of beer. the Auberginen-Lasagne and the salat were amazing. I only felt that some of the meals were somewhat overpriced. our friends thought the same, and some of them did not impress with their meal. the coffee was... big, but had no handles. I had to sneak a serviette to hold it only, but was slippery. the staff must have had a bad day, felt like a last for them and did not feel welcome even though our lunch group was super friendly. not sure if I would go back, dazzle because it was aesthetically great, and that was delicious.

Free parking, great view, friendly staff, good coffee and a gluten-free dessert. no scene here. I recommend from the beaten stretch.

We were taken to Ripples by our local friends. The location was great but the service and food were not up to scratch Menu choices quite ordinary on the whole and only one sweet option. The croissant came already spread with butter and jam... that's...not how they are supposed to be eaten but maybe my european background comes to play here. The salmon certainly wasn't the smoked version and the egg dishes quite bland. Service was very disordered and brusque... didn't even remember who ordered what. And lastly... price too high for not so nice food. Shame really
