The creams are delicious and the sponge cake is very light. Not to mention the cake design, I have always asked for ad hoc drawings and I must say that we have always loved it, especially my children who always require special things. I also ordered small pasta and pizzas and also those were great. The pastes were particular and different from the usual. Good, come on.
I ordered a quite simple birthday cake, sponge cake with chantilly cream, covered with white sugar paste with roses and the written wishes. the cake did not like, the sponge pan was dry, the chantilly cream had a hint of cinnamon that normally does not go. not to mention the aesthetics the only thing I liked was the roses. the cover of sugar paste was not smooth, on the cake seemed to create small poisonings and it was poured up to the filling. The really high price, 55 euros for a cake from less than 1.5 kg..

I discovered the Laboratory of Pastry a few days after the inauguration: it is open only for a few months, but the young pastry shop already boasts some years of experience at famous pastries. Its production focuses mainly on modern, international and young desserts, such as cupcake, cake pop and monoporous cakes. But the real strength of the Laboratory are the cakes: always fresh, made with quality raw materials and with completely crafted techniques. Whether you need a classic dessert because you have guests at dinner or want a wonderful cake design cake pie for your birthday, just ask and you will have a tasty and always beautiful dessert to see! In the latter case of course it is good to order with a little in advance, at least a week: the owner in fact keeps us to emphasize that all the decorations are handmade, and that all the ingredients are always fresh. The result confirms his words: I have already eaten several of his cakes, chocolate, with fruit, Bavarian, glazed, with and without sugar paste... always good, read and cured also in aesthetics! I find that too often cake design cakes end up being perhaps very beautiful, but not equally good, they are often heavy, full of cream or cream to support the weight of too much sugar paste, which moreover alters the taste of the cake. On the contrary, from the Laboratory come out sweets that first are good, do not weigh, satisfy the palate... and beyond that they appear as small works of art despite a very thin and even more tasty sugar paste of the average. As for the price, I've seen cheaper pastries (but you can't even compare it as quality! but I've seen a lot more expensive. Considering the quality of ingredients and the kindness and availability of Margherita, her cakes are worth every single cent! I mean, the sweets are delicious, if you have to celebrate an event the decorations are beautiful, I made her make the wedding cake and the guests have not left it in the dish! If you are in Gattinara area, it is definitely a reference point!
