The British Pub - Gatineau

Best pub food around! Recommend Brie, Nachos and Burger. Super delicious, great service and a beautiful place in general. We're here three times and we want to come back.

My first time at the British hotel for beer and food! Had the Mediterranean pizza that was very good. Very friendly staff, French and English spoken. Prices are good for the size of the food you receive. Will definitely go back!

Staying at this hotel overnight was the room nice. Very clean meals are not included, but so consider this, but there is an excellent pub restaurant below, but note the menu changes in the night, the burgers are excellent, but they do not offer them in the night menu. Just like things in the night menu like chicken wings and poutins. This hotel is very interesting in history.

Here in a very busy night and though, both the food and service were incredible. Our server was very patient with our young children and made great suggestions to record them. Large selection of handcrafted beer and generous dishes. The sweet potato fries were the hands down that I've ever had.

We were hesitant at first to rent a hotel above a pub, but this was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I stayed in the Prince of Wales suite, which was very spacious with a great bathroom. Very inviting and bright with the windows and not at all loud throughout the day. There was a warning when booking that there is noise on Fridays and Saturdays because of the pub( which we hearf first hand. We didn't mind and the music stopped around 1 am, with that said, not good for young families. Otherwise, it was close to everything we wanted to do. There were nice little shops and steps away from the Ottawa river. Definetely would go again!
