L'Oncle Ho Restaurant - Gatineau

We’ve been going to a very large, very expensive chain buffet restaurant for years. My uncle invited us to try L’Oncle Ho and I didn’t expect much when I walked in, but OMG the food was amazing. That place has been around for 50 years. My grandparents used to go there. It’s a small, but delicious buffet. And the service was amazing. The employees were friendly, kind, super nice to my children. We live in Barrhaven but plan to go back to Gatineau next time we want Chinese buffet!

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! I sat down and then just had to order some more to go, I loved their eggrolls and chicken balls, so good! Great friendly service. A must!

Good cook, a lot of homemade. Highly recommend the Szechuan.

It’s a WASTE OF MONEY, the chicken is horrible, looks like it's not made in the day. It looks and taste like the soups in cans you buy in stores. First and last time we go there, if I'm completely honest, It's like those premade rice you can purchase at maxi. There is no eggs in the rice. There's no celeri, no flavour at all. If you want real food, it's best that you do it or order from another one.

Take out containers have been very much reduced! About same price!
