Bistro Casa Paula - Gatineau

The owner of this restaurant is truly the kindest woman you'll ever meet! The food here will immediately make you happy. I tried the classic breakfast dish and my partner had the cabbage rolls, both of which blew us away with their amazing quality and flavors. The food was so delicious that I couldn't resist ordering more - as a soup lover, I had to try the soup of the day, and it was absolutely heavenly! I wholeheartedly recommend this place, it exceeded all of our expectations.

This is my favorite restaurant! The delicious homemade food, outstanding service, and cozy atmosphere are unbeatable. Paula is a talented chef and the heart of the restaurant. 10 out of 10 stars!

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and I have to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had! I can't believe I have been living near this place for almost two years and never knew about it. I give it 5 stars without a doubt. The owner, who also works here, is very nice and served us a meal made completely from scratch. The thick and juicy back bacon was cooked perfectly, the sausages were the best I have ever had, and the tourtière that came with the big breakfast was very flavorful. The maple beans were also amazing. I can't emphasize enough how delicious everything was. This place is truly a hidden gem and a must-try. The prices were also phenomenal - under five dollars for a two-egg breakfast with choice of meat, potato, and toast! Unbelievable! We will definitely be regulars at this restaurant from now on. The restaurant is quite intriguing with a varied menu selection. If you are indecisive, you may not always want to follow the recommended items, such as the hot roast beef sandwich with a large side of fries. Paula offers daily specials that are tempting, so it is advisable to call ahead to inquire about them. While I have not always been satisfied with my choices at this restaurant, I appreciate Paula's dedication to customer satisfaction. It is worth giving this place a try based on her efforts.

This restaurant is wonderful to visit. My husband and I started going there when I was pregnant, and now we bring our child with us. Paula, the owner, is a kind lady who cooks incredibly well. Every time I eat there, it reminds me of the feeling I would get when going to my grandma's for lunch: delicious food made just for me!
