Zizzi Newcastle Metro Centre

We Always go to Zizzi before the cinema . The food is fab and the waiters are always lovely.

The lady seating people was a little rude although service after this was spot on and the meal lovely.

Love zizis but not at metro centre. .felt like we were eating in a corridor .food very tatie but portions very small and mean with the toppings etc .no special deals were on so very poor value for money. Waiter v good

Tried the new chicken secondi, juicy chicken but served on dry focaccia with a handful of beans covered in rocket. Not as described on fresh focaccia with a green bean rocket and cheese salad. So disappointed perhaps they need to ensure better quality control on the passe. Zizi is very popular with families with young children, you need to ask for a quiet table if you want a quiet lunch.

There's not much more to say really. The food was delicious but the service, although good mannered, was very slow. We booked a table for 7:30pm but the restaurant had us down for 8pm. Thankfully they had a table for us anyway I don't think I would have waited around if they hadn't.
