Saltimbocca - Gateshead

Our family had a great meal at Saltimbocca, where the chef prepared a delicious shared starter for all 13 of us. We enjoyed large king prawns, tasty antipasti, and a fried seafood platter. We had a variety of juicy steaks and five of us opted for the seafood pasta. The atmosphere was lively with a singer playing guitar in the corner. Kudos to the chef and the attentive staff. We will definitely be returning soon.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch and the prices are very affordable. The service, both on the floor and in the kitchen, is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of soul. I adore the charming design and quirky decorations. We will definitely be coming back regularly!

A year ago, the staff was fantastic and the food was incredible. My partner and I opted for two courses that night, so we missed out on the meal deals, but it was definitely worth it for the quality of the experience.

Great Italian restaurant in the centre of Rowlands Gill. Good selection of the usual Italian dishes and an extensive specials board that always has something interesting to try. The Rabbit and black pudding pie was fantastic. Always a great meal and reasonably priced.
