Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - Gateshead

I do love this place, the staff are always nice, the window to watch the doh nuts being made is covered at the moment to stop people forming crowds, As usual the seating area is very clean, I have an exemption for mask wearing, but I strongly believe if you can not comply with the mask rules you should stay in, so I always wear a mask, but it can leave me very breathless, the duty manager noticed I was struggling so she got me ice for my drink and got me a seat near the door. You are allowed to remove your mask when eating. I am very grateful for her kindness

Drive 25 min to get donuts only to realise they’d run out. 50 min round trip for nothing, how can a donut shop run out of donuts!

Attempted to buy donuts twice this month. First time no donuts available at all. Second time only original available. 30 minute drive to get nothing.

It's rare I leave somewhere with a need to share my experience but I feel I have to take the time to compliment the amazing customer service and fantastic donuts I experienced whilst visiting here. The staff member I dealt with (Sam) was beyond helpful, I wasn't really sure on covid restrictions and didn't really know what was on offer etc but she took the time to go through the products and best direct me, with a friendly personality she made the whole experience stress free. The donuts were delicious (everyone at work agreed) and over all I'm super impressed and will certainly be back.

Luckily arrived when it was quiet and was able to take advantage of the Gov's Eat out/ Help out initiative. Served by Kieron*. Very helpful and friendly, credit to the store. BEWARE seen many people disappointed in the past as they load up on doughnuts and then get denied discount as the venue is at its newly reduced capacity. Discount is only available to dine in, but as your clever you probably knew that.
