Cast Iron Grill - Gateshead

Located within the Marriot hotel chain, this restaurant offered tasty food and a selection of pressurised beers (no handpull). However, the price of £6.50 for a pint of pale ale was on the higher side. Unfortunately, the heating was not very effective despite requesting warmer air, as it continued to blow cold air.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served quickly. I highly recommend visiting this place. The breakfast was good, but the hot dishes could have been warmer.

Second time for dinner here, both of them were fantastic. we had the sirlion steak, he has a nice carcinated taste. very friendly staff. the breakfast here is also really nice, English cooked breakfast selection is delicious and many options available. Avoid, avoid, avoid! so our starters where okay. my steak had to be sent back. I asked about medium rare and it was very well done, then when she made me a second was rare/blue. Eat always reliable, limited menu, but good value. disappointed with the veggie burger, which was not like per menu, but the waitress told us that it was not so advertised. different options not available but accept how difficult it must be for restaurants now. summing up a pretty expensive hotel restaurant where most people would find enough to order.
