Beckleberry's - Gateshead

I recently ordered from this restaurant for an afternoon tea and it was amazing! They offer a great variety of sweet and savory items at a very good price, with free delivery included. It was perfect.

I ordered teas, Victoria sponge cake, and ice cream in the afternoon. Everything was frozen when it arrived and I had to wait for it to defrost, but it was amazing. The afternoon was okay, but nothing was made fresh - everything was store-bought. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

During the lockdown, they offer several afternoon options that can be collected or delivered. our choice was a mix of hearty and sweet options that we all enjoyed and we also treated ourselves to buy some of their very tasty ice cream. her website. shows clearly what is available and that is what we were supplied. the foods are frozen with clear instructions for defrosting and/or cooking. good size components and very favorable.

Third visit in this great caffe in metrocentre since the refit. the personal is always friendly and eating is very good, but why have they taken the blt of the menu. this is the best sandwich anywhere in the center. always rejoiced...that when visiting the metro and really disappointed that it is no longer available. Please note that they put this back on the menu. I have heard some people who ask while I was sitting there so that there is a demand for them. would have been a five star, would have made my favorite sandwich available.

We visited here the other day on a quick visit to the metro centre, we spotted a delicious looking raspberry scone as we were passing and couldn't resist, so pleased we did it was amazing, great coffee too. Its had a revamp since the last...time we visited and is looking very smart, great social distancing and lovely staff.
