Casse-Croute Jo-Ann - Gaspé

This restaurant serves one of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. My wife ordered the Lobster club and also enjoyed it. There was a generous amount of lobster for the price. If you find yourself in the Gaspé area, make sure to stop by and try their delicious dishes.

Soft serve ice cream can vary greatly in quality, but the chocolate flavor at this restaurant was fantastic. It wasn't overly sweet and had a creamy texture that was very enjoyable.

Chez Jo-Ann is always a classic when I'm here! Your burgers and club sandwiches are the best. The service is usually quite fast and the prices are perfect. Perfect place to eat outside when the weather is beautiful!

During our stay in Gaspe, we inquired at the front desk of our hotel about where to find the best poutine in town. The staff recommended Joann's, located on the outskirts of town. They were spot on. The gravy was delicious, accompanied by perfectly cooked fresh-cut french fries. The cheese curds had the right texture and melted beautifully. Even my wife, who isn't usually a fan of poutine, enjoyed it. We also tried their homemade burger, which was flavorful and seasoned well. We were impressed and felt it outshone McDonald's. The following day, we returned for their soft serve ice cream, which reminded me of the one we had in Norway - outstandingly creamy. The restaurant was quite busy, so expect a wait for your order. Many customers opt for takeout by calling ahead. There are picnic tables outside and some indoor seating available. Joann's is definitely worth the short drive out of town.

Great burgers, fries, and plenty of it! always stop by whilst in Gaspe. Ice cream is awesome too! Simple but dependable lunches every time we visit the coast.
