Herbs Social - Garland

A visit to the silvester. overall the place was not packed, but the music was too loud. the restaurant has no good acoustics to begin and loud music amplifies the noise level. it was very difficult to have a conversation with my dining room companion. also the lighting was very bright, so it feels like a Dennys or ihop. eating was very good. I enjoyed the garnel and grits. garnelen was nicely grilled and the pour were very creamy! my ess mate had the black and shaved about how tender and tasty it was. the chocolate broth tasted like chocolate pudding with the pointed pinched. not worth the calorie. the service has been significantly improved compared to previous visits. I understand that the property and/or management has recently changed. Hopefully, the good food and the improved service are still coming to bigger things. Now they just work on ambiente. I like to feel like I'm not something bright and loud in a warm, cozy environment.

I was just not impressed. sometimes eating is quite good other it is just meh. the restaurant looks nice, but the menu needs a bit tweaking. the desserts were all quite good, but eating is only average with above average trips.

Beautifully decorated, first class service. the music was a tiny bit loud to talk times, but overall great place.

This is a hidden gem. you have to try. many specials throughout the week. Check out 10 Steak Wednesdays! delicious! service is great. great outdoor seats in many tvs and a really beautiful furnishings and ambiente. many parking spaces. did I say you have to try? highly recommended.

We scheduled a ladies night out with friends and none of us had ever been to this restaurant. We didn’t realize that the ladies night options would be two choices and in this case both were seafood. The portions were extremely small. It was more like a sample than a meal. Since most of the people in our party were still hungry we ordered a full size dessert. The chef brought the desserts out and asked if we didn’t like what they had served. It was just a very awkward interaction that we all thought was rude. They had live music which would have been awesome but we were all the way across the room and still were unable to hear one another. We unfortunately won’t be giving it another shot.
