1418 Coffee Garland

Husband and I are visiting from out of state and are used to your typical Dunkin’ Donuts! The quiet and cozy atmosphere was inviting. The ladies at the cafe counter were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful with deciding what coffee would be the best choice based on our preferences. I got a cafe au lait and my husband got a modified caramel macchiato and it was two of the best coffees we’ve ever had.

It was a Friday morning early heading to babysit coming from Frisco heading to Richardson I actually missed the exit for Preston to go to one of my favorite coffee drive thru. UGH! What was I thinking. Got off at the next exit pulled into a safe space and googled coffee near the address I was going. The regular Starbucks and Dunkin came up but closest to where I was going was 1418 coffee on Beltline why not. So I drove down Beltline and there was a street sign 1418 coffee. ITS IN A CHURCH OK. Pulled in and it's the cutest most comfortable shop. It has tables, chairs couches, games. Anyway the barista helped me order. I asked what the most popular drink was and she made it perfectly. Thank goodness I didn't see the pastries when I ordered but when I did that little devil on my shoulder told me no you are now running late and don't stand in line again. Anyway. The coffee was wonderful. The place is really cute to sit by yourself or with friends. Definitely heading there again.

Nice low key spot to grab a coffee in the area. A little hard to find since it shares the building with a church. Hard to ask for much more out of a local coffee joint honestly.

You're in Garland?!? Sweet! Just about every morning I walk from work to the Plano location. I can't say enough good things about you guys. I will be checking out this spot on my weekend runs! FYI, anyone new to this shop needs to try the Purple Haze. Good stuff!

This place is gorgeous! I ordered Purple Haze and it was perfect! Will definitely go back again!
