The Blue Hole Belizean Caribbean Cuisine

This place is so ultimate. The Jerk Chicken is my favorite in Los Angeles so far (I’ve lived here the entire life) love the spices and how they prepare it. The parking is always easy here and the people who own this place are so chill. Love this place, always stoked when I can stop by and pick up dinner here. Highly recommend.

For years now this has been my go-to place for Jerk chicken. It's the bomb. Not overly spicy, great portion. The only thing they need to work on are the plantains. They are consistently hard and have no flavor. I've been wanting to try the oxtails but I can't get passed the price. They might want to re-think that move. $35 for a portion with some rice and vegetables?? I rarely see anyone dining there. People are picking up a little plastic container of food with 2 pieces of meat and a side of rice and beans. Oh and a ranch dressing size cup of potato salad?? And you can't get it any bigger I asked) If I'm going to spend $35 on a plate of anything it needs to be in a fine dining restaurant. This is the little Carribean spot on Crenshaw?? I mean, I'm sure it's good but the price doesn't make sense.
