Bidra med feedbackThe food and the atmosphere were good. The appetizers were my favorite. The big balls of the fire were so crispy and delicious! I also have a boiler of King Crab, the Cajun steam boiler and a pound of shells. The crab legs, shrimps and shells were delicious! The potatoes and corn were a bit frozen/cold, but the waitress never came back to our table once we got our food, so I just put it on the side. The service was far below average. 10 minutes waiting for a coffee refill. I asked twice about the bill and it took 20 minutes to get. It seemed to be only 2 waiters, but only 4 tables were occupied, so it wasn't awfully busy. I had to give my payment to the bus who cleaned the table, and he had to find the waitress who took another 5-10 minutes. I was with Joe's Crab Shack at the sea and I think I'm staying at this place. Although it is usually busy, the service is much better!
Joe, what happened? Location is still nice and clean, but the food has really changed. Fish and chips had no taste and practically no spices. The Kalamari was the worst thing I cost. At least half of the plate were unfavorable paprika. The dough dry and without taste. Their saving grace was the shrimps and crabs of Nachos. I saw and tasted no shrimp, but it was still delicious. Not like the pandemic, but good. Not sure I'm back. The staff was nice, but they only need so long to give you the check and calculate you so you can go. It was a good run, but maybe they closed for a good reason?
Delicious, expensive for 5 of us, but delicious. An experience with a great server. But definitely from the budget for many people, for what we had. the market price Kabber Eimer was. Crab is expensive everywhere. Many more affordable options on the menu. Special occasions. But great. Will definitely return.
Joe's Crab Shack has always been great, and although it is 7 years since our last visit, quality is still right up there compared to our last visit. Very recommend to give it an attempt if you want to pamper yourself with crabs. Our server, 'Face' was amazing. Great guy, lots of laughs and very attentive. He checked us several times after our food was taken to the table to make sure everything was good. He made this an unforgettable trip to the restaurant.
Hosts we?re great, waiter was new and confused. Had a moment of miscommunication and proceeded to go back and forth with me. Manger Robin is very rude. Tried to talk to him about my concerns, got two sentences out before he?s says ok and what?s your point? I don?t get it, what are you trying to say, I?m not understanding and then he began to laugh. Well if he?s let me finish talking he would have UNDERSTOOD! I asked for an area managers info and he continued to laugh and said good look he?s in Missouri, asked me if i want corporate?s number instead? Said ok I?ll take it, he then said it and tied to walk away. When I asked him to write down or if there was a card he began laughing again. All around not good experience! P.s. our appetizer looked nothing like it should have and tasted very mediocre for Joe?s.
