Bidra med feedbackThis is the kind of place that you would call a hidden gem. Its authentic, homey and delicious. You know a place is good when lots of native speaking Koreans come and frequent. The staff speaks primarily Korean, but not an issue when you can point to the menu item. And they do take card!I ordered the cold buckwheat noodles and the stone pot bimbimbap. The portion sizes are also pretty huge so if you're a small-ish person like me you'll be pretty full.Cold Buckwheat: So refreshing! Perfect dish for a hot summer day.Stone Pot bimbimbap: They use a huge stone pot and it kept the rice hot for quite a long time. Overall generous portion sizes and delicious food.
I came on a whim after craving some sujebi and found this little gem! The lady working was super nice, got my order, and gave me a huge array of banchan. Kimchi is on the riper end which is my favorite type of kimchi. My favorite one was the shredded potato! The sujebi portion was HUGE! Broth was a light anchovy broth, perfect for the doughy blobs, and had potato, zucchini, and carrots. She also offered some pickled peppers to add into the broth which enhanced the flavors. For $18 this was a huge steal! I was eating sujebi for days. Such a cute little place, would definitely come here again!
I had cold noodles on the east coast and was craving it on the west coast. I yelped and found Hanuri Korean. Mom and Pop shop for sure. The cold noodles and banchan were tasty, along with the spicy pork with white rice. The server was so friendly and kind-hearted. Great offerings and hit the spot for me for sure.
I really loved this place. Food was delish and good service and reasonable prices.I will be back. I had the dumplings and rice cakes soup. Side dishes were ample and good too.
A total hidden gem. Located in a small lot, this cozy little restaurants is simple and delicious. I came in at 10:30am on a Saturday and was greeted by a friendly auntie. I ordered and she quickly brought out a huge array of side dishes! Some familiar to me, some new. I really enjoyed the potato salad one because it also included sliced apples and broccoli. The tomato and one was also very good. My sujebi came shortly after and I was SHOOK at how huge the bowl was. This bowl of sujebi can easily feed 2-3 people. The bowl came out piping hot and delicious. The bowl was filled with a savory broth with squash, onions, anchovy, carrots and delightfully chewy hand torn noodles. Combined with the awesome selection of sides, I was so stuffed!!! The auntie came by and checked on me multiple times and refilled my potato salad when she saw how much I was enjoying it lol!By the time I was leaving, the place was getting pretty packed. My total including tax came out to be under $21. I will definitely be back.
