Bidra med feedbackLe Pain Quotidien is a decent break stop especially after mall shopping. The staff is super friendly and attentive even though I ordered only a cappuccino and latte to go.Next time, I will definitely try out their dine in experience. The place was full, and the food on display look very delicious!
Monday May 6, was my birthday and I had the misfortune of having to go to a funeral for my friend who was killed by a drunk driver. After the funeral my sister and I were looking for somewhere to have brunch and discovered this place by chance. We had the skillet eggs, with coffee and hot chocolate and fresh fruit salad afterwards. Our waiter was great( forgot his name) a young kid who anticipated all my requests. Halfway through our meal, the manager, Maria came over to ask if everything was ok and I told her my sob story. To my surprise and delight, before our meal was over she returned with two small pastries on the house, wished me happy birthday and her sincere condolences on the loss of my friend. Her small gesture of kindness warmed my heart and saved the day……. And the food was great too! I’ll definitely return. Bravo ???
I’ve been a fan of LPQ for years and was very happy to find it at Roosevelt Field Mall a while back. I’ve had mixed experiences but generally very positive. Nothing was better that when I popped by the other day and met the manager Sam and server Brandon. They were just the sweetest gentlemen!I felt bad because they were clearly cleaning up and mopping at the end of the day when my daughter spotted the new French cream brioche bun and I asked if I could get one for her. They immediately stopped, packed up the last one with smiles and laughs. My son and I were fasting and Sam was kind enough to throw in something for us later. They wouldn’t accept a larger tip and so I ended up buying some more stuff. The experience left my family and I smiling and really glad there are people like Sam and Brandon out there. I’ll have to stop by more often for sure.Btw that French cream thing was really good, the brownie was ok, the cheese danish is always solid, but the coconut macaroon was an unexpected hit!
I usually go there a lot but today was a big disappointment. Person in the kitchen didn’t have the requested bread I asked for so went ahead and made it with another type of bread instead of asking if I want that bread or not. When I got my order I asked why this bread was used she screamed across the restaurant with very nasty attitude out loud. I returned my order and grabbed a sandwich from the fridge which was also very poorly well prepared and not fresh.
Very yummy food, pastries, bread. A new go to for breakfast, brunch, lunch. Pick up some pastries, bread, croissants to go. The mushroom gruyere quiche and the ham and gruyere croissant are delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options. Oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, pastries, sandwiches, quiches, and more.
