Bidra med feedbackGoogle says 24 hours. The sign out front says 24 hours. The sign on the door said closed for cleaning open at 6am. I was there at 6:20 this morning door still locked at 6:30. No one would answer the phone when I called so I walked around the building to the back door. Seeing that it was open. I knocked on the door and hollered inside and they told me they didn’t have any waitresses. I told her to please update their sign.
I just shouldn’t eat at IHOP anymore. Slow service, no customer service. Small stingy portions for waffle toppings. Even asked for a little extra and they came back with like a teaspoons worth. Chocolate cake is mass produced somewhere else. This one was clean and no weird smells. I was optimistic that it was a good one, but I was wrong. I should have gone somewhere else for a sweet craving.
Food was good. Service was standard. Nothing over the top though.
Service was terrible. Waited and waited to get waited on. Finally a gal came and said our server was extremely busy. Only 3 other tables were there. Again she Finally came and we ordered drinks. After waiting longer she brought the iced tea and coffee. Iced tea had almost no ice in it. Again we waited, almost to the point of walking out, and she finally came and took the order, all the time telling us they were so busy. I saw a lot of goofing off, laughing and carrying on with each other. After waiting a long time the food arrived. My shrimp was barely warm, the shrimp sauce was nothing more than salsa. My hubby's fries were lukewarm and he didn't get the jalapeños he expected on his sandwich. Had to ask for more tea and a cup of ice. Again ice was melted in tea. Waited forever for them to bring the bill. Also there was a girl painting the walls and there was no wet paint signs anywhere. Oh and before I forget they seated us at a dirty table and had to ask them to clean the table off. Looking around I saw several other tables that were dirty. Other people left when they were finished the tables sat there with dirty dishes on them. We've eaten there before and have excellent service and food. I hop, you were very disappointing on this day.
10pm is when we arrived, is 11:50pm still no food. Waitress that took our order left. She was the girl with braces, asked about our order and she seem lost. I just really think the franchise group should definitely look into the management. Is not the employees fault is really management and the training process they have in place. After our. I get it they are short staff, but where is the management, should be the GM responsibility to come help if a shift is short handed.
