Samyo Asian Food - Galway

Fresh and Tasty food. Great Staff. Will definitely be back!

My family and I are in Galway for a few days and we've already been to Samyo TWICE because we really enjoyed it (we would love to go again if time allowed). The food is really wonderful, very generous portions and reasonably priced, and beautifully cooked with great variety, especially for vegetarians and vegans. My mum and I are both vegetarians and we had lots of choice of lovely food (we tried the vegetable peanut satay, the veggie chow mein, the stuffed mushroom starter and the signature curry with vegetables, and they were all lovely would especially recommend the signature curry). The staff were so friendly and attentive, and service was very quick we didn't have to wait much between courses, which was brilliant as you can smell the wonderful food throughout the restaurant and it made us really hungry. I'm just sorry we don't have a place like Samyo back home in Belfast but I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Galway!

I rang for a collection,was told 10 mins..i was there in 8 and food was ready.Friendly service .Chicken dish was nice,but sadly Beef stir fry in Oyster sauce was awful..no flavour whatsoever both meals were lukewarm and chips were cold,had to heat them...very disappointed..live 4 min drive away..

Good portion size, but way to sugary sweet taste most predominate taste from the spice bag not enjoyable ruined it, sweetness should be just a touch to balance it , not the predominate flavour pity as first time ordering , something easily corrected no doubt friendly service also
