Very good service. I think the food was good but could have been better

I love this place or rather I did. I recently rang ahead for a booth whilst booking. The staff kindly informed me that they weren’t available. Mum had a stroke and she needed privacy. The booth wasn’t the issue . I’ve been here for yesrs ! They couldn’t have picked a more public table. Right at the bar!!! She was so aware of her surroundings upsetting. Bar was so noisy!!!with the staff saying shhhh everytime someone opened a door. I wouldn’t have written this review until I got up to use the bathroom and saw a couple given a very private table in the back. Being a health inspector, it was one of the few places I liked. Shame and very Disappointing

We were blessed today, As a young man called John was our waiter for Sunday lunch. The food as always was surberb. John stood out from the team, He was soooo attentive, professional in every way great humour. He made the difference to our day. So. A big thankyou to John.

Nice cosy atmosphere with great food and top class customer service. The prices are also very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend, particularly for lunch as this is when we visited. Baby bowls and a kids menu are available. We had the baked salmon and chicken wings.

Really delicious food with huge portions, friendly service, lovely pub/restaurant atmosphere. Great prices. Highly recommend. Returned twice in the same week.
