Apache Pizza Galway

Garlic dips come with an extra charge at this restaurant, unlike other Appche stores in Ireland.

I ordered 2 pizzas in a Double deal with two very different sets of toppings. Unfortunately, they mixed up the toppings on both pizzas and even forgot some toppings. This is the second time this has happened when ordering from the Apache app.

I like the menu but we’ve given them a few chances and we’ve been disappointed each time. One time we ordered brownies as dessert and they arrived wet and soggy, not sure why there was that much water in them. Another time the pizza we ordered was burnt. Also, they don’t provide refunds. Deliveroo driver came and left, tried to call but call didn’t go through because I didn’t receive anything. I contacted the restaurant she told me id receive a refund, but I contacted Deliveroo who contacted the restaurant, and then they changed their mind and told Deliveroo that they don’t do refunds. By that point we already ordered somewhere else, and then they said they’d just redeliver the food. It was a different person talking this time, saying they don’t do refunds. They said they tried calling and Deliveroo tried calling and couldn’t reach me (a lie since I talked to Deliveroo myself). I sound very much like a “Karen” but really, I’m disappointed after we gave this place one last chance. One of us was really really looking for forward to something here and now it just killed the mood, even though they eventually said they’d redeliver, it had been a while and we were already frustrated. No need to go through such a hassle for a place with such subpar food. Maybe in person the food might be different but we’ve been disappointed each of the three times we decided to give them a go.

We ordered a pizza and paid for it online. (8th of Dec. 5pm) The delivery guy handed me the pizza and said €20. No receipt or anything just waiting for cash. I told him we were paying online and he accused us it did not happen and he need a proof of that. We did prove showing the payment so he just turned and left without an apology. I hope the company will look after this because as I read other reviews we are not the first one's tried to be scammed here with the same situation.

Great food, great customer service very friendly, freshly cooked, will definitely return again on my travels. Five stars all day long.
