Kfc - Galesburg

A few weeks ago my wife and I had a terrible experience at the Galesburg KFC, when the drive by workers Soda over my wife (driver seat and not even noticed. I just came back from the hospital and had some painful health problems, so I didn't notice. As soon as we left and I found out I called the store to complain. This only made something worse and I will not come in, just let us say that it was nothing near a pleasant customer service interaction (from my perspective at that time). I hung up and told me everyone had a bad day and mistakes. So today I went back and I was reminded why I enjoy her food and service so much! The food was good and the service spot on! The 5 stars are for food and all the excellent workers they have on the staff (even if they make mistakes! I spoke to the superiors about the terrible day, I'm sorry. I had a lot of pain and everything I wanted to hear from you, I'm sorry. We will work on not happening again and in hint, that was a late conversation from the Get go. I'm sorry to put you in a position to defend your crew, and that you're very good. Errors happen, no excuse for bad manners. I wish I had taken the time to write your name so that I could forward your handling with this difficult customer as you did. You and your crew do excellent work, you have worked through this pandemic and well served your customers! You know, we, the public, appreciate all of you! Thank you.

The order taker... Rebecca I believe was her name, was very kind and polite. She didn 't interrupt me by saying is that all or anything else . She let me order my food without interruption... and that is the first place around here that I have been to where the customer service through the drive through was absolutely wonderful. Thank you! The food was hot, and we received the correct order.

The popcorn chicken isn't even hardly chicken anymore, just the crunchy stuff mainly. It's not the staffs fault though. They were great! The franchise itself isn't what it used to be, food or price wise!

Chicken was kinda cold. I had to wait at the drive through for a long time when I ordered ahead.

It was okay but the employees in the back were yelling and not carrying about the customers inside. The manager wasn't saying anything to any of them about the poor behavior, just not a pleasant experience. The food was lacking in a lot of ways. Tasted like warmed up food from the microwave!
