Nicnic - Galaţi

Great food, great service, magnificent view of the Danube. I had dinner on the terrace. I ordered the Mittitei with mum liguta (corn flour cooked in water) and the grilled fish.

Nic Nic Restaurant in Galati We ordered 2 servings of chicken carvings and pommes. Dry scavenger, tasteless frits. Simple dish but not to scratch the cook. My son had to ask for Ketchup because everything was so dry. Beautiful location and decoration, but the food tasteless. I have 3 stars because of the location and the waiters who were better than in other places. I cannot understand why restaurants in Romania are not able to chew a simple dish like chicken carving or grilled chicken moist and easy. I can both do so much better and I'm not a cook in a restaurant. Deity. The owner should be more interested in how well we cooked and maybe train You better the cook

Prices are okay, food is okay, what is not ok is the waiting time. Between 15 and 20 min to get the attention of a waiter and between 30 and 45 min to get the food. The dirty tables everywhere no one cleanse the tables and we saw how many people did exactly what we did: get beer right out of the bar. In view of the top position on the banks of the Danube, a small investment in more qualified staff would be nice

The food was ok, the waiting period was quite long and the beats on the pizza just fell off the slice and the bread was very oily except that the service was decent, the drinks were good.

Overall, poor. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. Not only did it about an hour to get it, it was far from a complicated dish. For a couple portions of frozen fries along with grilled cheese that is unacceptable. Moreover, one portion arrived before the other, with the waiter saying they do not have enough cheese for a second portion and that it would be smaller or we would have to let it go. Having chosen the smaller portion, it arrived after another short delay, except the cheese was regular size however with different fries. Add to that the fact that the drinks took half an hour to show up and you can get the image. Can't complain about the waiter as bar and kitchen seem to carry most blame, but if it weren't for the location itself and view I would go down to one star.
