Humitos Grill - Gaithersburg

We went on a Tuesday around 6 PM and we were the only ones sitting at a table. The food was decent but not fantastic. They were out of lamb. The server spent all of her time talking to the few people at the bar very loudly and took a long time to bring us the check or give me more water when asked. It was pretty pricey as well. We will not return.

So my wife orders takeout and pays for it through their website. I show up 20 minutes later and the doors are locked and four scantily clad women are standing outside. They tell me the restaurant is not open yet. I look in, the place is dark. I wait in my car a couple of minutes, then go home. My wife calls the number listed on their website and some guy answers. She gives him the order number and he says it will be ready in half an hour. I tell her to cancel the order.Only in Montgomery County!

Thought we were coming to a Greek restaurant. Where are the Greeks? Turned into Latino Food- AWESOME! Loved it. Service- very goodAmbiance- oh my. Where do I begin. First off bar was covered over with patrons doing shots, scream singing to music playing louder than any concert I've ever been to. Stove lights started in the middle of dinner.

The thought of wanting to go, now I'm hesitating. Reading these reviews with LOUD music and girls dressing like hoochies, food with hair, unflavored and owner not apologizing to his patrons, makes me think this restaurant WILL NOT LAST. Time to call the Board of Health. Chef Ramsay wouldn't even eat there, I bet ?
