California Pizza Kitchen At Washingtonian Center

We always come here but this time was a bit disappointed. First the Chicken Picatta although not bad not worth it for the childlike portion of the pasta. Second the pizza the California Veggie pizza did not have almost any Mozzarella and it was burnet. The funny part when we called the manager he said this is how the food should look and taste so we didn’t argue but took a picture

Service was wonderful staff was friendly and food was delicious...I'm going back.

Love the food here, it's very consistent, and the service is usually fine or even great depending who you get. However, I came in with a friend on a Monday for lunch right around noon and even though it wasn't busy, no one came to greet us. I saw at least 2 employees look over at us and just ignore us. A few minutes later finally someone waved at us and gave us a gesture indicating he would be back soon. By then another person was also waiting behind us, and with so many dining options available in the area, I decided to leave. I would normally give 4 or 5 stars but had to go to 3 because of the bad experience this recent visit. I would be willing to update if service improves.

The food (chopped BBQ chicken salad) was good; sevice very friendly and competent.

The girl at the entrance was 100% rude, and prices are ridiculous. Better watch this place MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER WAS STOLEN AT THIS PLACE!! BE CAREFUL ?
