Bidra med feedbackDelicious Family run place, all our meals from the kids to mum and dads were super. The staff are very friendly and the place was immaculate
Even though I go here every year, I almost always miss it. I end up getting out of the car and walking downhill. WE have the Beefsteak Florentina here every year and it is the best steak we have had. Never disappoints. Dad is the waiter, Grampa is the busboy and mom is slaving away in a 105 degree F. kitchen-cooking the steak over great oak logs. Everything is great, service is great, it really is a little gem. Just below the Castello Brolio.
Arrived here at lunchtime following a recommendation to find it shut. '10 minutes ' we were told....but it was obviously Italian 10 minutes!!! On entering we found that the owner had obviously been told that we were waiting and had set a table for two by the window. We both had 2 courses. I am vegetarian so the owner ensured that my bruschetta had appropriate toppings. The ricotta ravioli with sage butter was delicious. Husband had pasta which he said was very light then Tuscan sausages which went down very nicely with some local Chianti. By the time we left there were quite a few locals in enjoying their lunch. Service is very relaxed so don 't expect fast food and a quick lunch, which was perfect for us Owner speaks a little English This is very much off the beaten track and not easy to find, but will definitely eat here again
Coming to lunch in san regolo is always a guarantee, never wrong! the welcome is always unique, the dishes are always rich in taste and tradition, the view of their magnificent terrace. for me always remains the best local of the Sienese chianti!
Excellent Tuscan trattoria, with evidence of the counter where they sold and still sell the typical food. local and simple style, but great quality. In those parts today to eat well you can also spend a lot, here you do it by spending the right, with kindness of the owner who pleasantly remembers the old father who gave the name to the local and who still attends them. All good, in the end I bought a box of homemade rambling cookies. you eat with a look at a sea of vineyards. I recommend it.
