Bidra med feedbackBeen eating here for years now. tried keeping it a secret, but word got out. it's more crowded now, but the food is still GREAT. i love mexican food and this is as close as it gets east of TX. also like TX/MX but this is NOT that. i most often have the nachos grande with a top shelf margarita rocks w salt. mmmmmm good!
I came here late at night from my hotel room, After a long day at UF Preview, We sat down service was quick, our food was ready in under 5 min. meanwhile they gave us a plate of chips and salsa to snack on, and they were delicious, our food was great, I loved that they made it how I wanted (I'm very picky about my food) Great Restaurant!
Relocated this restaurant next door to Red Lobster just off Newberry Rd on 69th St. (near original site) My favorite Mexican restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner.
La Fiesta consistently ranks among my top two Mexican restaurants in Gainesville. Their queso and guacamole are the finest in town, and the complimentary salsa and chips are unbeatable. Definitely order the queso! Every item I've tried from the menu has been excellent, with one exception: there was one occasion when my chicken burrito contained what tasted like canned chicken. I've enjoyed it many times, but that particular night was disappointing. However, since it happened over a year ago, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
We visited on a Saturday night and fortunately, it wasn't too crowded, so we were seated within five minutes. I have to say the food was decent, but the rice and beans were absolutely incredible—hands down the best I've ever had at any restaurant! Our waitress was really friendly and served everything promptly, whether it was food or drinks, she was very attentive to our needs. All in all, I would definitely return and would highly recommend this place. It was a great experience!
