Bidra med feedbackWe had a great dinner tonight! The food and service were absolutely first! Chef Sandy brings it every time! My husband had the Rockfish special and I had the fillet- both were cooked for perfection.
Wonderful anniversary dinner at Brass Cannon last night. Filet was cooked to perfection and also the best pork chop I had in my life. Staff made my wife and I feel like celebrities. Nice view too. We'll be back soon.
Wonderful place to kill an afternoon. Amazing view over the lake and the golf course. Many regulars from the municipality. The Ahi Tuna nachos are ridiculous!!! Seriously, they are so addicted. I order them with extra Ahi Tuna. Very relaxed environment with friendly patrons and hosts. I'm glad I found this place.
It is not often that something seems to my palate to the point of me that I write a raving review about something I ate, but that all changed when I had lunch in the Brass Cannon. I was in the DC area for a recent business trip when my colleagues and I agreed to call it an evening and go for dinner. We were on the road for a few days and were always pressed for the time, so our elections were always a bit light and quick as a chain restaurant, but tonight we had time to kill and wanted to change the pace. We came across the Brass Cannon on a fast Google search. We noticed that it was on a golf course so that we were initially hesitant, but a local had overheared us to discuss it and had told us, Yo! The Brass Cannon joint is Dope AF! It was enough to convince us to whisper it. We came to the clubhouse where we were greeted with great hospitality. The manager Gregory was very welcoming and made sure that the drinks and the food were excellent and we were not disappointed. He sat and let the waitress come and take our orders. The drinks were fantastic and the bar was well filled with a variety of liqueurs, but the drinks menu was all we needed. Their home drinks were all very good and we were all very satisfied. I ordered the double smoked ****. It was one of the best things I ate. It was cooked to perfection and full of taste. It was served with a southern style bed scratched green and a maple Bourbon glaze. They complicated each other like an orchestra that played a beethoven symphony in my mouth. To dessert, I wounded myself and I have the bread pudding I have to admit was difficult not to go on the back and kiss the cook on the mouth. It would have been very easy to get involved and spend the rest of my life eating this dessert. Overall, I should say that the service and food deserve more than 5 stars. Greg was very hospitable and the food still gives me cravings. If you are looking for a place to eat, but you are not very safe.. I just have to tell you, Yo! The Brass Cannon joint is Dope AF!
You absolutely must try the ahi tuna nachos. I know, I know. It sounds weird. But TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU that you will kick yourself when you find out how delicious these things are. Fried wontons are my new standard of nacho chip
